About Denim Jacket

MFRL's raw denim outer layer, built from 385GSM denim (91% cotton, 7% polyester, 2% viscose) with a vintage wash and an oversized fit designed to age with wear.

GSM stands for grams per square meter — the weight of a single square meter of fabric. It's the most honest number on a garment. Price can be inflated and photography can be styled, but weight is measurable, and it tells you most of what you need to know about how a piece will feel, hang, and last.

150 - 180

Standard retail t-shirt. Thin, drapes onto the body, translucent under direct light.

180 - 250

Mid-weight jersey. Comfortable everyday wear, no real structure.

Standard retail hoodie. What most brands are describing when they say heavyweight.
